This is a great hooded towel. I loved the first one I bought that I ordered two more. My daughter is 4 and she loves hooded towels. All other hooded towels I have seen are for babies only and useless for older children. I don't like all of those novelty hooded towels - ducks, frogs etc because the do not take a lot of washings before they look bedraggled. This towel is plush & soft, big and basic and essential in our household.

I added machine embroidery to mine, and the hood fits my 4x4 hoop fabulously (not sure about a 5x7 though)

The quality of the hooded towels I ordered is great! I must say that I was not quite happy with the colors. I ordered pink & blue, and feel that the pink was a little too bright & the blue was more of a turquoise. Just a bit of a shock! Would have preferred softer colors!
