Like most, I'm not a vacuum cleaner expert. While the Metro vac does do a good job for my needs, it's not much better than the bargain priced Eureka it replaced. A washer popped off the connecting pin of one of the steel extension tubes the second time I used it, and I'm not sure it's really heavy duty enough for the price difference generally.
