I had the earlier model, which was OK, but this one is excellent. I have tile floors, and some wood. The grout brush and the attachments are a great improvement. You won't believe the amount of dirt in the recovered water.

I purchased this model for the attachments as the other Floormate models do not come with attachments. I am overall pleased with the performance of the floormate. It works great in all modes, dry, wet pickup and wet wash. My only complaints are these, 1. My whole first floor is either covered with tile or wood surface. The wash container is too small. I had to empty and refill the container too many times while washing the floors. 2. When using the dry mode, the exhaust air coming from the vacumn interferes with picking up dust on the floor. It will blow the dust out in front of the cleaner making it hard to pick up things as dog hair and dust. Other than that this is the best product on the market for doing all functions of cleaning your floor.
